Juliet Furness – Performance Coach, Voice Teacher, Actress, Casting Director.

Juliet Furness clearly has a body of experience working with actors -spending 17 years in New York City , acting, studying and teaching. She has recently worked as performance coach for actor’s on the movie Stone, Paper , Scissors and is now moving into casting for films.

She has been personally endorsed by both Anne Hathaway’s private acting coach - Seth Barrish, as well as Jeremiah Comey, who she worked for as assistant tutor in Los Angeles.

 During the brief time classes have been going she has had three students land roles on Shortland St, one of which was core cast!

She has successful taught up to Level 3  here recently, which culminated in shooting a movie.

Students now have footage to show casting director’s so they can be submitted for speaking roles.

LEVEL 1-Covers basic audition technique, slates and profiles, Intro’s to camera, exercises in awareness of what your neutral persona might be communicating, sight reading, memorizing tips, improvisation games to warm up for confidence building and getting you thinking on your feet, subtext  and rudimentary voice work.
